English language learning at the primary school level often relies on conventional grammar instruction, which may reduce pupils’ interest and limit their ability to apply adjectives effectively in authentic communication. Although adjectives are introduced in the curriculum, many pupils continue to face difficulties using them accurately in both speaking and writing due to the overreliance on drills and worksheets. To address this issue, A Day in My Life was developed as an interactive educational board game that aims to help Year 4 to Year 6 pupils identify and apply different categories of adjectives through meaningful real-life contexts while enhancing their vocabulary, critical thinking, communication, and collaborative learning skills. The board game follows a daily routine divided into four time-based stages; Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Night, where pupils complete contextual language challenges through interactive mini-games and peer collaboration. The novelty of this product lies in its integration of curriculum-based adjective learning with authentic daily-life scenarios, transforming grammar instruction into an engaging, hands-on learning experience that promotes active participation and knowledge retention. The product benefits society by supporting teachers with an effective game-based teaching aid that increases classroom engagement while motivating pupils to develop English proficiency in an enjoyable and meaningful way. Furthermore, A Day in My Life demonstrates strong commercialization potential as an affordable educational board game suitable for classroom and home learning. It can be marketed to schools, teachers, parents, and learning centres through e-commerce platforms and educational resource providers as a locally relevant alternative to imported English language learning games.
