UMI INSYIRAH PAKASA UiTM
A board game called IBEX (Islamic Banking Experience) aims to educate Islamic banking by application rather than theory. Players assume the roles of customers, examine actual financial situations, and suggest contracts and goods that adhere to Shariah. The Adaptive Knowledge-Based Movement Mechanism (AKMM), its main innovation, substitutes performance-based advancement for dice rolls. Players advance by proving their knowledge, incorporating formative evaluation into each move. An ESG score system, contract cards, event cards, and customer scenario cards all mimic real-world banking choices and moral compromises. IBEX provides a scalable, assessment-driven approach to Islamic finance education and is appropriate for universities, training facilities, and financial literacy programs. It also connects with Outcome-Based Education and the SDGs.
