Fit Fight Muscle: Game Edition is a mobile-based educational game developed to make muscular anatomy more engaging and accessible for sport science students. Traditional memorization often limits students’ ability to retain muscle information and apply it to movement, exercise, and rehabilitation. Building on the original Fit Fight Muscle Card Edition, which used Muscle Cards and Q&A Cards, the new version transforms the learning experience into an interactive digital game for smartphones, tablets, and computers. The game aims to strengthen active recall, muscle recognition, functional understanding, and independent learning through visual questions and practical challenges. Its novelty lies in combining anatomy content with sport-related applications in a portable digital format. The innovation can benefit students, educators, schools, universities, and training centres while reducing dependence on printed materials. It also offers commercial potential through institutional licensing, subscriptions, customized modules, and expansion into other anatomy topics. The digital format also allows the game to be used during classroom activities, revision sessions, group competitions, and self-directed study. Students can repeatedly practise key concepts at their own pace while receiving a more interactive learning experience than conventional notes or static diagrams. Lecturers may use the game as a supplementary teaching resource to reinforce lessons and encourage discussion about muscle functions and movements. In addition, the application can be updated with new questions, difficulty levels, and topic categories without reproducing physical cards. Future development may include performance tracking, multilingual content, multiplayer features, and specialized modules for coaching, fitness, physiotherapy, and physical education across diverse educational settings.
