Understanding the chemical structures and applications of natural products is a foundational element of chemistry education which extends to applications in medicine, agriculture, food science, and cosmetics. However, students frequently struggle to conceptualise these molecular configurations due to a lack of accessible and engaging instructional resources. To address this limitation, this project introduces Chemigamy, an interactive chemistry-focused educational card game designed for learners aged six and above to facilitate comprehension of the classifications, core structures, and functional groups of natural products. The deck comprises eighty Chemi cards representing chemical elements, chains, and rings; 24 Action cards that modify gameplay dynamics; and 10 Natural Product cards displaying target structures. Players draw, match, trade, steal, and collect components to assemble scientifically accurate molecular structure and earn points, thereby transforming abstract configurations into tangible, manipulable elements. Learning efficacy was assessed through a paired-samples t-test comparing the performance of twenty-two students before and after the intervention. Post-test scores (M = 8.05, SD = 1.68) were significantly higher than pre-test scores (M = 3.32, SD = 2.03), t(21) = −8.90, p < .001, representing a mean improvement of 4.73 points per student (95% CI [3.63, 5.83]). The associated effect size, Cohen's d = 1.90 indicates that the intervention substantially enhanced students' understanding of natural product chemistry. These quantitative findings were supported by test play feedback evaluations, in which respondents reported improved learning awareness, clarity of chemical information, and ease of interpreting structural illustrations. Future development trajectories include enhancement of physical card design, migration onto digital platforms to enable remote multiplayer learning, expansion into broader chemistry topics, and integration within school curricula and science fairs. Ultimately, Chemigamy offers a scalable, affordable, and pedagogically effective value proposition that bridges the gap between theoretical organic chemistry and interactive gamified learning.
