University students experience many changes in their nutritional behavior while in tertiary education. Poor nutritional behaviors among university students are mainly determined by their time limits, financial limitations, and negative campus environments. Although empirical research continuously affirms the effectiveness of behavioral theories such as the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), findings from the research fail to materialize into practical and self-guided tools for use by university students. Due to this situation, NutriScope DSS v1.0 is a lightweight decision support system that assesses, analyzes, and develops healthy eating intentions. The system uses questionnaire forms that have been automated, multi-construct scoring engine, rule-based diagnostic engine, and KPI dashboards. NutriScope DSS evaluates attitudes (ATT), subjective norms (SN), and perceived behavioral control (PBC) and hence discovers behavioral friction points in individuals. Finally, NutriScope DSS gives an easy to use, free tool for health promotion and literacy on campuses.
