Conventional lecture-based delivery may encourage memorisation without ensuring meaningful understanding, leaving students unable to connect foundational pharmacology with authentic clinical situations. To address this gap, PharmaNexus was developed as an interactive web-based learning platform for undergraduate and postgraduate medical and health sciences students. The innovation consolidates essential pharmacology content into a structured digital environment that supports active, self-directed, and clinically relevant learning. Rather than functioning as a static repository of lecture notes, PharmaNexus presents concepts through concise learning modules, interactive activities, formative quizzes, clinical scenarios, and immediate feedback. The platform can be incorporated before, during, or after formal teaching sessions, allowing educators to apply flipped-classroom, blended-learning, revision, and remediation approaches. Students use the website to review core concepts at their own pace, test their understanding, identify knowledge gaps, and repeatedly practise the application of pharmacological principles. Its classroom implementation demonstrated higher student engagement, reflected through increased participation in learning activities, more active involvement in discussions, and positive responses towards the accessibility and interactivity of the platform. The innovation also enables educators to transform passive pharmacology teaching into a more learner-centred experience without requiring specialised equipment or complex technical infrastructure. PharmaNexus is distinctive because it integrates foundational knowledge, active recall, formative assessment, and clinical application within a single adaptable platform. Its web-based design allows content to be updated, expanded, and customised across different programmes, learner levels, institutions, and pharmacology topics. Consequently, PharmaNexus offers a practical and scalable model for improving pharmacology education while supporting deeper understanding, sustained engagement, and more effective preparation for clinical practice.
