Across Malaysia, many pre-adolescent girls enter puberty without clear, accurate information about menstruation, leaving them vulnerable to anxiety and cultural stigma. At the same time, there is a distinct shortage of engaging, localized digital tools to help explain the topic. SURIQUEST: Early-Stage Menstruation was created to solve both problems. Built for girls aged 9 to 12 and presented in Bahasa Melayu, this Game-Based Learning (GBL) app turns a sensitive subject into an interactive, empowering learning experience using verified health content from UNICEF. The development process followed the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) instructional model, balancing educational depth with fun, interactive gameplay. To test how well it works in the real world, 25 nine-year-old students evaluated the app using the USE (Usefulness, Satisfaction and Ease of use) framework. The evaluation proved statistically reliable (Cronbach's alpha = 0.98) and revealed an outstanding 90% overall user satisfaction rate, with an average usability score of 6.28 out of 7.00 ("Very High"). The students found SURIQUEST intuitive, engaging, and easy to navigate. By successfully combining essential health education with interactive gamification, SURIQUEST delivers a proven, user-friendly teaching tool that is ready to scale across primary schools nationwide.
