The objective of this study is to identify the challenges faced by secondary school students in understanding the concept of sustainability and their engagement in environmentally conscious practices. KitaReka supports students in developing creativity, design thinking, and sustainability awareness through hands-on activities using recycled materials, while also introducing basic entrepreneurship skills by guiding them to create marketable eco-friendly accessories. It helps teachers by providing a structured teaching kit that enhances visual learning, classroom engagement, and the effective teaching of sustainability and entrepreneurial concepts. The novelty of the KitaReka lies in its integration of accessory design, recycled materials, and environmental education within a single, hands-on instructional package. This kit combines visual learning, step-by-step modules, and practical activities to actively engage students while promoting sustainability and creative thinking. This product contributes to society by nurturing creative thinking and design skills among students. By integrating recycled materials into accessory design, this product also promotes environmental awareness, waste reduction, and sustainable practices, encouraging students to become more responsible and environmentally conscious members of society. The KitaReka can be commercialised by selling physical learning kits to schools, offering digital learning materials, and providing teacher training and student workshops. Collaboration with schools, universities, museums and galleries through sustainability programmes can further expand its market.
