Statistics is an essential discipline for developing analytical thinking and data interpretation skills. However, many students struggle to master statistical concepts because of their abstract nature, limited learning support, and low engagement with conventional teaching methods. To address these challenges, STA Boost 2.0 was developed as an AI-enhanced gamified learning ecosystem that aims to improve the teaching and learning experience of Introduction to Statistics through accessible, interactive, and personalised learning. The platform integrates structured notes, gamified learning activities, an enhanced calculator guide, QSC+ (Quick Scientific Calculator Plus) video tutorials, and STA Buddy, an artificial intelligence-powered learning assistant developed using Google Gemini that provides guided explanations, scenario-based learning, and immediate feedback. Unlike conventional digital learning applications, STA Boost 2.0 combines AI-guided tutoring, gamification, and computational support within a single mobile-accessible platform, enabling students to learn anytime and anywhere while supporting lecturers with technology-enhanced instructional delivery. This integrated approach promotes active learning, improves conceptual understanding, strengthens digital literacy, and encourages independent learning, thereby contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education). Beyond its educational value, STA Boost 2.0 demonstrates strong commercialisation potential as a scalable and cost-effective educational technology solution that can be licensed or adapted for universities, colleges, schools, and other quantitative disciplines such as mathematics, research methods, and data analytics. The platform represents an innovative advancement in digital education by transforming traditional statistics learning into an engaging, intelligent, and learner-centred experience.
